Distillery Notes

Founded in 1898 in Forres Scotland by a family of passionate whisky lovers, who focused on the creation of single malt at a time when everyone else was blending.
The Distillery produces an old style of Speyside whisky, using lightly peated barley from local farms harkening back to when distillery used peat to fuel their kilns.
This paired with the exclusive use of first fill casks creates a sweet and smokey whisky unique to Benromach, and reminiscent of the old style of Speyside.
